With only an idiot box a TV at home & 6 TV addicts, you can imagine the chaos we have all day and night deciding which programmes to watch. We have our own preferences like:

Dad watches Channel 511 CNN right after work to get abreast with world news.

Mum learns her cooking tips from Channel 703 Asian Food Channel.

Brother # 1 is a HUGE fan of English Premier League, UEFA Champions League. 

Brother # 2 watches Channel 325 Astro Xiao Tai Yang to improve his Bahasa Malaysia so that he won't make sentences like this again:

Grandma just can't stop laughing from watching Channel 333 Hua Hee Dai!

Last but not least me, I never missed an episode of Top Chef.(^__^)

Now, with ASTRO PVR, I can record 2 channels at one time (yay!), rewind Live TV in case I miss it (yay!!), pause Live TV for loo-break (yay!!!) & most importantly, play it again! (yay!!!!)

 

That's 4-in-1 baybeh! Marvelous!!!

Therefore, with Astro PVR, it will solve the disputes among my family members! That means, more quality TV time as well!
