A PIECE OF ME

Pushing myself beyond limits is what I enjoy doing, to outdo what my capacity is able to achieve breeds a sense of satisfaction that none could understand. Guilt strikes in when I feel that I'm not working hard enough, irregardless of the hours and efforts that I've contribute. Priorities in life are boundless & ranks differently depending on circumstances, ask yourself what you truly wants and have faith in your own judgment. The rest will fall into places. Be happy about it!.

If we have the power to make a difference or start up something good the least, why are we not doing it? Why should we hesitate? How long should we sit and wait? And what are we waiting for? Miracles? Magic? The power and magic of creating miracles lies  in our hands! By believing in your own capabilities, you're 20% towards achieving that miracle, the 80% comprises of sheer hard work, incorporate with sweats, toils, humiliation, failures and all till the day comes.

Experiences are there to make you grow, not holding you back.

I'm being blessed with all the good things throughout my life and for that, I'm deeply thankful!

Regrets are excuses for people who give up fighting.

In ushering the rabbit year of 2011, I'll place great importance on:- (that is if other variables such as health "behave" in a good manner)

#1. FURTHER EDUCATION
I got to seriously sit down & have a meeting with myself on this. And work out a plan, a financial plan that i able to support this. Procrastination only delay my dreams further and all the other plans that I've lay out for myself.

#2. CAREER
At 25, I'm no longer a giddy young chap looking for a job to sustain the beautiful night life. (assume that I had one in the first place, that is) I've been aiming for a fulfilling career; one that makes me want to get up and go to work everyday, one that keeps me full in the stomach and offer great job satisfaction. The only way to achieve that is to do what I do best and give 101 % at it! Don't hesitate! Don't give up! don't say no!

Sometimes, i lose tracks of what I should be fighting for.

At times, I find solace in the complacency of life.

Most of the time, I doubt my own will-power. Perseverance fails me 75% of the time.

#3. WEALTH-BUILDING
By "wealth", I'm referring to 50% monetary sense & 50% spiritual contentment. People often say, it's easy to gain wealth, the toughest part is to maintain it. It's even harder to GROW wealth. Yet, I'll make this an equally important goal with the rest & take more calculated risk. With a financially sound background & a huge figure in a place people generally call bank, I'm one step closer to realizing my dreams. As for the meantime, I got to stick to my "Poor Man's Methodology" and achieve little goals instead.

On the spiritual part, I find talking to own self provides huge emotional boost! And talking to "God" a fulfilling experience! I do not pray devotedly to a particular "God" but each time when I'm despair and in need of help, I will just silently pray "God, please help me on this!" Whichever God who must have got my message will miraculously open my eyes into options that I never before see.

#4. INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
I hate to admit this but as much as I hate admitting it, I can never run or hide from it. I have a teeny-tiny problem in communicating with people. It might be ego. It might be selfishness. But no matter what, please don't judge me before you know me because that is just simply unacceptable, unfair and bias!

I'm here to make friends if I'm lucky, not rub shoes.

#5. LOVING OWN SELF
I will LOVE ME, MYSELF & I more from now on. I've had enough of putting other people / everyone else before me all the time.

LOVE LIFE: SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT

I think the environment should be put in the category of our national security.  Defense of our resources is just as important as defense abroad.  Otherwise what is there to defend?  ~Robert Redford, Yosemite National Park dedication, 1985

Dear beloved friends / readers,

We often talk about saving the environment and the importance of preserving our natural wealth. But how many of us actually walk the talk?

In order to create greater awareness about living green, recently we have started the Love Life: Save the Environment community page in Facebook.

Basically, this page aims to be a platform for environmentally-conscious friends to share their ideas & thoughts on how we can make this world a better place to live in! ^o^

Click on Wall to view our current updates and activities. Friends can also post their suggestions and exchange green tips among each other.

Click on Info to find out more about our aim and how we can make this work! ^^

Our key here is to focus on Simple Ways to Save the Environment which we can begin from home. Practice simple daily habits like switching off the electric and water tap when not in use can do so much to our planet Earth in the long run! Yup, as simple as that! ^o^

Every week, we will be posting new Green Tips to encourage friends alike to practice the mission given. The Mission # 1 for the week is Let's Make Sunday a No-Driving Day!

That aside, we will be having monthly Green Ideas starting January 2011. There will be different Green Themes every month and if you would like to contribute ideas, do be a part of us today!

Join the page here!

Or, you can just search for us at the right bar of this blog & click "like"! ^^

Encourage your friends to join too! ^o^

Let's Love Life: Save the Environment! And live GREEN! ^-^

Thank you! ^^

SELAMAT HARI BOXING!~!~!~!~!~!

#1 Google Image

I used to think that Boxing Day is a day to celebrate the existence of the combat sport & muscular boxers serving each other fists in a ring. =.="...

How shallow!

#2 Google Image

It was only last night that I knew the true meaning of Boxing Day from my baby! *silly me* Boxing Day is widely celebrated in Britain, Australia & few other countries! It is so called because traditionally it's the day for tradesmen to collect their Christmas Boxes in return for good service throughout the whole year!

THE BATTLE OF EARRINGS

#1

Hi! Merry Christmas everyone! Your's truly spent the entire day de-cluttering her bedroom and ended up with bags of recyclable & give away items. Mostly KBSR text books & old CLEO magazines, some still "wearable" but not "in-trend" clothes and accessories. Like the one in the picture above. And the earrings you see in the picture are just 0.0001% from my actual collections, whee~~ If anyone is interested to "inherit" my once precious possessions, kindly pm me at chenlin_joy@yahoo.co.uk. I'll need some time though to take photos and upload them here. Meanwhile, just tell me what items which might be of use to you cause they are in very good condition I assure you and if no one wants it, it''ll be disposed and put to rest forever.

Maybe I should held a "WAREHOUSE SALE" hahaha~ Then, you can get what you want at very very very low prices and I can save up for my education! Brilliant! Hmphhhh......

Well, apart from being the cleaner of the day, I took few hours to sit down and evaluate my 2010. Bad decision to do that on Christmas because I realize that I've side-track from my original goals which I've set early this year! And I almost cried at how back-slack I become! With barely a week into a whole new year, it's time to make new resolutions (but it's no guarantee that it'll be achieve, again!) My list is still blank at the moment, I don't want to just simply write something or being over-ambitious in goal setting then fail terribly in keeping that resolutions work and end up crying again! >.< Resolutions are like promises that you make to yourself; unless you're going to fight hard & work your ass off to make it a reality, else you might just don't need one!

Resolutions or not, I'll be serious and think about it!

Once again, Merry Christmas! Be Merry! Be Jolly!

30 MINUTES TO CHRISTMAS!~!~!~

Everybody is busy partying & having enormous fun with liquors & dances & snow yet I'm all alone at home =(

Worst still, I can't bring myself to rest early on this holy night & got to blog my feelings out! *si pek pathetic*

What a lonely Christmas! :( With no loved one around - I'm referring to my other half)

#1
My Christmas Eve Dinner; of Maggie Mee & fish fillet. Mum cooked fish as a substitute of turkey (cause she claimed couldn't find turkey at the market) and chicken is too common, I eat chicken on daily basis *kok kok kai*

You know what I love most about Christmas? It's not about the party all-night-long thingy or the turkey & fruit cake or anything like that, definitely more than what the eyes can see & the mouth can taste. *winky hanky pat pat*

It's the joy of being with loved ones. period.

#2
Random: Don't you think my faux boots match my skin-tight jean?

Tell you something if you want to know, I love unwrapping presents, whee!~!~!~ The anticipation and excitement of what will be inside those nicely wrapped boxes & packagings are simply the best feeling on Earth!~!~ Hence, Dear Santa, I wish for a day of doing nothing but unwrapping gifts (of the likes of Vera Wang & Gucci, that is) in the comfort of my own bedroom *pray really really really hard*

#3
I was joking about the Gucci part (although I don't mine if it comes true hahahaha) because the joy in this whole pressie-exchange "ceremony" is to feel the love and fun of it, regardless of the price of the particular item! But people say "the expression of the receiver of the gift is priceless". (Kindly imagine me grinning with a Gucci in hand) tralalala~

#4
My new girl with her pressie ^_^ Her smile is the kind of million dollar expression I was referring to =D

#5
Just today I realized that my mum, with her "pro" photo-taking skill, is able to make me looks like having this magnificent super power that I can fly and be invisible or jump on the same spot at 988kph *dup dip di di da da dup*

#6
After numerous attempts, I gave up on posing and thus justify the senget head wtf *Oh shyte, oh shyte no cursing on holy night* muahahahaha~

#7
Eventually, I got fed up and gave her a faking natural smile & stand army-straight as a sign to her that I'm getting impatient *nak marah dah ni*

#8
She read my "warning" and thus, this is the nicest photo that she managed to take after 732451987345 attempts.

#9
Tabung bear-bear ('@')

15 minutes left to countdown...

Merry Christmas!!!~~!~!~

Go to bed, bai!

#1 Carbs-Packed: I love it when there's food! A lot of food!!! Better still free food wtf hahahaha~ This was what I had during the welcoming buffet at a recent invitation to the show unit of a new residency area. I had 2 servings burrrppp~ Free eh ma, actually can eat whole tray of bee hoon and fish balls one...malu only... :(

#2 Got Ice Kacang some more! One of my favorite desserts (after Honey dew Sago) ^__^

#3 The showroom ^_^

#4 The interior!! So freaking lan leng!!~~ If only I had more budget for the show unit T__T  *got to work harder and harder JOY!!!!*

#5 I want this type of glass on my staircase. Not now, but soon! The limiting factor is always $$$.

#6 Reached home first thing first: CaMwHoRe ^__^ See, I've gained weight! ^__^ I'm 42kg now 3 kgs more to go then hopefully I'd be fit and "meaty" at the place where it suppose to be lalala~

#7 If plastic surgery was to be affordable to all, I would get a nose job, double-eye lid done, pouty lips and most importantly... BooB jobs wtf

#8 A very horrible pic-duh of me making my fringe looks like cock head hahaha~ I always do this when my fringe is too long and poking into my eyes ('@')

Finiz stoli, bai bai~

p/s: A post of no substance..I'm lacking idea of what to write maybe I shouldn't write at all in the first place *sobz sobz*

1st - CASA IMPIAN

#1 - 2 years ago, I was at this unit of apartment / showroom & instantly attracted by the spacious and luxury design of it. However, back then I couldn't even afford the down payment, not to mention the monthly installment & maintenance fee which took up 80% of my salary. T__T I took a few glances and walked out with a heavy heart, vowed to work harder for a better future.

A year later... I was again looking for a new place of my own. I searched high and low for a place I'll be fond of and I found it ^_^

#2 - 3 Chicken littles at our old house.

#3 - He's such an adorable kid, isn't it? ^_^

Anyway, back to my topic for the day. If you are wondering where my new place is, I'm sorry because I'm not ready to disclose it for some reasons. However, let me bring you for a tour around, all right?

#4 - The moment you enter the house, you will be greeted by this antique chairs and table that my dad bought it from an old shop in Penang. I don't really like it because it spoils the whole image of my ideal clean cut, simple and stylish home. But seeing that he's so excited and happy with his purchase, I didn't say a word.

#5 - Moving on to the living area, you will see a coffee table and a tv console. Still blank because sofa will need 3 weeks for delivery. I would have to say that again, I don't quite fancy both of the pieces but dad chose them so no choice :( Btw, anyone wants to sponsor me plasma tv? (^o^)

#6 - This is the dining area. Mum chose this marble top table which is not even a bit to my liking :( And the kitchen is still WIP. ^-^

#7 - Let's go to the 2nd floor... See the empty space under the staircase, I want to make it an extra storage room. Dad & mum will be taking up the room downstairs and meanwhile it's still empty.

#8 - Nah, show you my Sponge Bob Seluar Empat Segi sandals... xD I don't know who got it for me dee, short term memory lost wtf

#9 - This is the living area on the upper part... We are still figuring out what to do with the empty space. A mini bar maybe? But, it's still in planning stage... what to do, lack of budget ma... :(

#10 - Notice that the wall is exceptionally high for a double-storey house so we might build another floor later on. The extra room will be for my clothes, and shoes and bags and accessories and surrounded by mirrors at all corners, muahahahaha~ *die laughing*

#11 - Oscar's Room. I chose the bed sheet cute leh~ Ignore the poker cards on the floor, my mum is bringing bad influence to him, hmphhh!!

#12 - Joint-toilet with another room, Bryan's room.

#13 - Need no explanation, with the color of it you would know that this is your's truly room ^o^

#14 - I don't like having so many grills but dad insisted for safety reason. Another thing is that, it's not sea-view hahaha~ couldn't afford it yet but maybe later on, I will tralalala~

#15 - My near-empty wardrobe as most of my clothes are still at my old house... 3 sections; one for casual, one of work and one for party dresses weeee~~~~~~

#16 - With own toilet...but no bath tub :( See the luggage, I lazy to unpack :p

#17 - I was doing my work so slightly messy xD Really, I was working on something! Haih~

#18 - The bed. Queen size. I wish I'd get King size instead.. I feel a little small with pillows and soft toys all around.. Morale of the story, don't trade your comfort for a few hundred bucks T___T

#19 - Random. Oscar bought me this lady bird 5 years ago... when I went to KL to pursue my study :)

#20 - Seeds... I'm want to plant my own veggies, weee~~~ Bought these from Australia earlier on... So, my "friend", are you going to get me more seeds when I go later on? *hint: soon* lalala~

#21 - One for each of us ^-^ Pink - wa punya. Blue - Bryan. Black - Oscar. Violet - Mummy. Clear - Daddy.

For lunch, we went to a kampung kopi tiam located quite secluded one. Kononnya, this stall of chicken rice very famous one! But, I guess we went to the wrong place T_______T

#22 - Lunch was Char Siu Rice instead of chicken. It tasted like dead chicken, I'm serious! I can't even finished it! Therefore, picture can be deceiving. Only the kacang soup is drinkable lalala~

#23 - The kiddy decor hehehe~ Mini Pooh's were birthday present from a friend 2 years back. Erm... koala head was from a "friend" in Australia ;p Mr Bean Teddy I don't remember from who but definitely from someone because I never waste my money buy soft toys one, I spend it "wisely" wakakaka~

#24 - My brother, Bryan slept whole day in his air-conditioned room =.="... And played few rounds of UNO with Oscar.

#25 - I like the blue paint ^^ Dad & cousin painted it themselves, and I mean every part of the house including the pink paint on my wall. Thanks Dad, YOU'RE SIMPLY AWESOME BEYOND DESCRIPTION! *loveeeeeeeeeeee*

Moving out from the house we have got.......

#26 - Some plants. You can't see it here. In actual, there are blue tiny flowers which I love sooo sooo sooo much! Neh, the type of blue flowers where people use to make kuih coloring one =)

#27 - My grandma gave me 2 pots of bendi =) I love simple dish like steam bendi. Next time, I can stuff myself with bendi(s) =D

#28 - Can be eaten dee ^_^

Happy Monday People!~
