The Weekender

These coming months I'll be busy looking for new furniture & stuffs for my new nest. Hence, the recent Furniture Fair at Pisa came just in time for me to look for bargains and also (hopefully) affordable designer pieces (=

Before that, take a look at my hair loss issue ):

This is like.......only 5% from the hair I drop daily T________T My head like got one bald spot T_______T Why oh why! T_______T Who want to sponsor me YUN NAM HAIRCARE? I read an article which says the average hair drop for one person is like 60 strands daily. Mine is definitely more than that! T________T

Ignore the hair part at the moment.

Arredo, with a wide range of classy furniture. When I say classy, indirectly it means pricey as well (-: Means I cannot afford. Way out of my budget~~~~ Fret not, I told myself. I will make do with the little I have. Well you don't need extravagant stuffs to fill your whole house right (;

This is our (mum + me) favorite sofa set; white, huge, comfy!!!!!! The moment I sat on it, I (almost) didn't want to do stand up cause it's so comfortable & soft!!! Obviously it will fit perfectly in my new living room! But it costs like 6-7k ): Way out of my budget ):

The brand Vonza was quite popular with visitors that day, a lot of people surrounded the booth, I didn't even have chance to ask for brochure.

Nature's Rest sells bed geh

The King & the Queen slumber~
Actually I took off my shoes and slept on it for few minutes but I was malu to ask my mum to take photo, lalala~

Sample tasting: Curry chicken
My mouth is big so one small bowl not enough for me to test properly. Ended up I had 3 bowls muahahaha~ Dengan tak malunya I force my mum to go get the samples for me while I stood at a corner waiting lalala~ There was this booth promoting the periuk geh so to show how useful the periuk, the sales aunty made curry chicken,  nuts porridge and etc.

And this is juice mango campur banana campur nanas I think. Extremely refreshing, had 3 cups as well and I thought I would sakit perut after that but turned out, my digestive system is strong! =D

I stop taking photo after that cause the crowd got bigger then I proceed to Sunshine Farlim for more food sampling.

Lalala~ there goes my weekend ;)

THE THING WITH FOOD

Here’s the issue: I’m very particular with what I put inside my mouth; particular in a sense that I prefer food which is tasty than food which is healthy! Of course, the ideal choice will be tasty and healthy! I always believe in the saying “You are what you eat”. So if you choose to eat healthily, chances are high that you are going to age gracefully and live till the 3-digits golden age. But if you are a “live to eat” kind of person like yours truly, then I’m sorry. You might satisfy your mouth and tummy but definitely it’s not good in the long run.

As long as the food is good, I don’t mind squatting by the roadside and drench myself in sweats just to have that bowl of laksa. Or to go all the way from East to West. Guess that justify why eating in College is always the last option. Reasons can be summarized best in 2 areas:

Quality
At this economy rice stall, often you will come across 70% cooked fried chicken, soggy cabbages and icy cold egg dishes! This is not sashimi mind you!

 Picky eater...no?

Let me give you an example. Last weekend we had a seminar at the college, food were provided by our college cafeteria, just basic dishes such as loh bak, curry chicken, tau kuah, vegetables, etc. A lot of our students went out for lunch that day as the break given was 2 hours. As a result, there were a lot of leftovers. And the next thing we knew, we saw the same dishes on the economy rice stall the next day. Get what I mean?

Price
I must be looking rich when the aunty charged me RM 3.60 for 2 small pieces of minced meat (the size of my palm T___________T). And minus the rice. Really! Is it me or the inflation?

Hence, instead of economy rice, I chose to eat:

HOKKIEN MEE

Commonly referred to soup-based Hokkien prawn noodles served in Penang, with slices of shrimps, porks and boiled eggs. Best eaten with a generous amount of “eu chang” and chilly oil.

A steamy bowl of Hokkien mee for only RM 2 ^___^

Ends.

MIZZ NINA WHAT YOU WAITING FOR

I can't help myself from keep promoting this song....

the official video (featuring Nina & Colby o' Donis)

The Glamorous as always, Mizz Nina!
Tell me how not to love her...

Provocative as it may seem (lyrics wise, dressing etc), criticism & negative remarks have been bombarded against her especially when she's a Malay and the involvement in this "sexually explicit acts" of the music video.

But you know what, she will be performing tomorrow in Melbourne, her first ever international show in conjunction with Merdeka Day! She's promoting our beloved country in the eyes of the world! <<< hearts!!!!!!

For more info, click here.

I personally love the arrangement of the song, catchy tunes, the music video, etc. If there's a "like" button on the video, i would click a million times for sure cause I simply love it to the max!!!

I just can't wait for the next hits from her! Meanwhile, enjoy the singles "What You Waiting For".
