LOVE LIFE: SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT

I think the environment should be put in the category of our national security.  Defense of our resources is just as important as defense abroad.  Otherwise what is there to defend?  ~Robert Redford, Yosemite National Park dedication, 1985

Dear beloved friends / readers,

We often talk about saving the environment and the importance of preserving our natural wealth. But how many of us actually walk the talk?

In order to create greater awareness about living green, recently we have started the Love Life: Save the Environment community page in Facebook.

Basically, this page aims to be a platform for environmentally-conscious friends to share their ideas & thoughts on how we can make this world a better place to live in! ^o^

Click on Wall to view our current updates and activities. Friends can also post their suggestions and exchange green tips among each other.

Click on Info to find out more about our aim and how we can make this work! ^^

Our key here is to focus on Simple Ways to Save the Environment which we can begin from home. Practice simple daily habits like switching off the electric and water tap when not in use can do so much to our planet Earth in the long run! Yup, as simple as that! ^o^

Every week, we will be posting new Green Tips to encourage friends alike to practice the mission given. The Mission # 1 for the week is Let's Make Sunday a No-Driving Day!

That aside, we will be having monthly Green Ideas starting January 2011. There will be different Green Themes every month and if you would like to contribute ideas, do be a part of us today!

Join the page here!

Or, you can just search for us at the right bar of this blog & click "like"! ^^

Encourage your friends to join too! ^o^

Let's Love Life: Save the Environment! And live GREEN! ^-^

SELAMAT HARI BOXING!~!~!~!~!~!

#1 Google Image

I used to think that Boxing Day is a day to celebrate the existence of the combat sport & muscular boxers serving each other fists in a ring. =.="...

How shallow!

It was only last night that I knew the true meaning of Boxing Day from my baby! *silly me* Boxing Day is widely celebrated in Britain, Australia & few other countries! It is so called because traditionally it's the day for tradesmen to collect their Christmas Boxes in return for good service throughout the whole year!

HAPPY BOXING DAY!~!~!~!~

THE BATTLE OF EARRINGS

#1

Hi! Merry Christmas everyone! Your's truly spent the entire day de-cluttering her bedroom and ended up with bags of recyclable & give away items. Mostly KBSR text books & old CLEO magazines, some still "wearable" but not "in-trend" clothes and accessories. Like the one in the picture above. And the earrings you see in the picture are just 0.0001% from my actual collections, whee~~ If anyone is interested to "inherit" my once precious possessions, kindly pm me at chenlin_joy@yahoo.co.uk. I'll need some time though to take photos and upload them here. Meanwhile, just tell me what items which might be of use to you cause they are in very good condition I assure you and if no one wants it, it''ll be disposed and put to rest forever.

Maybe I should held a "WAREHOUSE SALE" hahaha~ Then, you can get what you want at very very very low prices and I can save up for my education! Brilliant! Hmphhhh......

Well, apart from being the cleaner of the day, I took few hours to sit down and evaluate my 2010. Bad decision to do that on Christmas because I realize that I've side-track from my original goals which I've set early this year! And I almost cried at how back-slack I become! With barely a week into a whole new year, it's time to make new resolutions (but it's no guarantee that it'll be achieve, again!) My list is still blank at the moment, I don't want to just simply write something or being over-ambitious in goal setting then fail terribly in keeping that resolutions work and end up crying again! >.< Resolutions are like promises that you make to yourself; unless you're going to fight hard & work your ass off to make it a reality, else you might just don't need one!

Resolutions or not, I'll be serious and think about it!

Once again, Merry Christmas! Be Merry! Be Jolly!
